Shena Musiq, One of our very own

Shena is a new and dynamic singer/songwriter and is set to release her debut single "Stuck in the middle". Working closely with world renowned artist Ramzi who has also produced the track she is set to explode onto the music scene in 2011.

Shena, one of our very our own SSPC members was born and raised in Nottingham, Shena was exposed to music from a young age. Growing up to the sounds and lyrics of Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston and Santana to name a few, her musical knowledge evolved and she became accustomed to a number of different genres including Pop, Classical and Underground.

Raised within a musical family, Shena's father, a well established Indian singer, ignited her passion for Indian music, allowing her to appreciate music from both east and west.

"With my dad touring around the world, I was exposed to the Indian music scene from very early on and I began to experience live music. My ears became fine tuned to understanding and recognising exactly what good music should sound like. It was through this experience that I started to listen to the likes of Lata Mangeshkar, Nusarat Fateh Ali Khan, Mohammed Rafi and many more great singers.

Having had the opportunity to experiment with different genres, Shena brings a unique approach to the industry with a collection of genre-defying songs. With the release of her new single approaching, Shena is set to take the music industry by storm.

Over the last few years Shena has also supported our community events namely KGT 2010 where she proved herself to be an absolute star. Since then her progression in her professional career has sky rocketed and sheis now currently working with TapeDeck Records and is due to release her single "Stuck in the Middle" on the 10th June 2011.

The KGT team lifted barried last year by providing the SSPC public with the fanatastic Juggy D at KGT 2010, his performance all gave us something to twist on about. With KGT 2011 hot on its heals, we are proud to present our headline act the up and coming Asian underground singer Navin Kundra,

Navin Kundra is a talented singer, songwriter and composer. His main strength is his versatility to perform English, Hindi and Punjabi songs from a variety of genres and his live performances utilise these abilities to appeal to the widest range of audience. His music captures the essence of Asian music whilst giving it a contemporary feel thus catering for audiences of all ages and backgrounds.

Navin performs and entertains audiences worldwide with his unique, innovative and interactive performance style, for events ranging from international star-studded concerts to weddings and from dinner & dances to club nights and mehfils.

He is currently working on his debut album, which already features two number 1 singles, and four top 10 hits.
